WWIII (Report to General Sweetz)

Devon “Sweetz” Warren is a modern day renaissance man. A jack of all trades, if you will. Specializing in such fields as photography, studio engineering, music production and directing, his pallet for creativity is certainly vast. I came across Devon’s work through my friend and colleague Tom Gist. Whenever Gist makes a move musically, visually or cinematically, it is almost always with the support of Sweetz. He has been behind many of the rapper’s videos, and most recently shot an introduction gallery for Gist’s collaboration with Dreamland. The magic (displayed below) was the result.

As the aforementioned information reflects, photography is not Sweetz’ only hustle. His music production is perhaps his strongest suit, and with a star-studded resume already intact, his momentum is only getting stronger. Sweetz has been perfecting his craft for 15+ years and throughout had the privilege to work with industry greats like David Banner, Crooked I, Paul Wall, Alchemist, Jae Mills, Rah Digga and as stated, Tom Gist.

Some of his best production (in my humble opinion) was on Tom gist’s Harlem Blues. Listen below.
