Wheels: Rolls Royce Ghost

Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon? But of course, the all new 2011 Rolls Royce Ghost  is indeed one of life’s finer pleasures. Emerging from the giant shadows of its predecessor (The Phantom), The Ghost bares a more subtle and discreet elegance.

Based on the name of Rolls Royce’ 1906 vehicle The Silver Ghost, this luxury automobile is modern class; redefined. It features a slightly smaller body, and more curvaceous styling than the Phantom, while maintaining the same on-road presence. Although completely different body style is displayed, the Ghost’s functional (unseen) parts are borrowed from the 2011 7 series BMW. Perhaps this explains the impressive 630 bhp, allowing a speedy 0-60 (mph) in 4.5 seconds.

The Rolls Royce tradition of comfort and class is by no means compromised within the Ghost, due to its absolutely stunning interior. Butter-soft leather seating, accented by rare woodgrain detailing allows for the posh ambiance Rolls Royce owners expect.

Although the Ghost is one of the more inexpensive models Rolls Royce boasts, the $255,000 price tag is enough to scare off any shallow pocketed motorists.
