The DeAndre Way

The youngest #1 artist in Billboard history has returned with his third album: “The DeAndre Way.” This self-titled entry solidifies Soulja Boy as the hit-maker he has always been. Not only has the underdog entrepreneur come to the table with another offering, he has brought us his greatest one yet!

Initially Soulja Boy was viewed as 2007’s ‘Los Del Rio.’ With a dance-single for his intro into music, no one thought him capable of recovering. Yet, he came through and released his first album souljaboytellem.com. Next, when hip-hop itself turned against him, Soulja took to the studio to create his follow up effort, iSouljaBoyTellem.  Equipped with the twin-singles “Kiss Me Thru the Phone” and “Turn My Swag On,” he again proved his doubters wrong.

It’s 2010 and the now twenty year old mogul is back with more hits. The video’s for “Pretty Boy Swag,” “Speakers Goin Hammer,” and “Mean Mug,” have been out on the web for weeks/months; his #SouljaSociety has been attacking the triple-w with free promotion all year; and tomorrow “The DeAndre Way” officially hits the shelves.

With an inside look into the release I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed. He has not only brought fans his usual high-end production, he has also provided us with depth in his vision.

One thing I appreciate about Soulja Boy is his off-the-cuff bravado. One thing I appreciate about his latest album is how he gives his confidence a No-Limit-esque soundtrack. From singles for the ladies to sub-rattling songs for the car, this album scores every song with a slice of excitement. This is fun music! This is a young man at his best! This is “The DeAndre Way,” and it’s a certified neck breaker!

Love it man! Hip Hop week!
Not a big fan of this guy but he definetly makes his music “accessable” to the public. This is definetly pop music for all listeners and that srves him very well.
Turn My Swag On remains one of the tracks I constanly put on to get ready to!

I love how open-minded you remain. Most long-time fans of hip-hop stopped buying albums in 1999. Thx for always supporting and paving past them lames big bro!!!

SOLDIER, SOLDIER, SOLDIER!!!! EVERYTHING IS DIGITAL!!! Richie Rich is back! I love it. I was a hater at first too, but this kid is 3 years younger than me and worth millions!

STACKS ON DECK! Nice post brother. Keep ‘em coming!

Thx man! I never hated the kid, cause I always respect a solid grind. To literally be business minded as a teenager is impressive enough. However, he can also make beats — and he is the originator or ‘jerk-talk’ if you ask me.

SPEAKERS GOIN’ HAMMER!!! BAMMER BAMMER BAMMER!!! (Boi-1da beat to boot — TDOT!!!)
