Runway: Simon Carter

Most of my late nights are followed by early mornings. A few weeks back, when I was on the sunrise side of the spin, I found myself at Square One. Having worked at nearly every mall in the GTA Square One remains my favorite; and the aforementioned occasion only solidified that fact.

Things started off with a bang… actually, more like a heavenly sigh. Having just done an advertising campaign with Victoria’s Secret, I’d remembered their new store just opened. My friend JLB and I thus meandered over to the red carpet and walked through the deified doors. Suffice it to say that if I could reincarnate into anything it would be a Victoria’s Secret. Ladies, help your men out and get over there ASAP!

After exiting I remembered that I’d initially come to purchase a new sweater for an event that evening. Drifting aimlessly along I suddenly stumbled into Tip Top Tailors; a well known Canadian establishment, but not one I frequented. Well all of that has changed since seeing their introduction of Simon Carter clothing.

From sweaters to ties, and suits to slacks, I fell in love with the line immediately. Their use of purples and oranges offers young males a fashionable upgrade to their fall closet. Recently my friends at “Toronto is Fashion” attended the “King of Cufflinks” launch party. Included are pictures of Simon Carter’s “Carnaby Collection.” As you can see this modestly priced attire has something for every swagger-filled-fashionable-hipster. So without further ado I would like to put my hands together and celebrate Mr. Carter for a job well done!
