Reggie’s Old Fashioned Sandwiches

Toronto’s King West is always introducing new and trendy eateries, boasting the city’s most desirable dishes and ambiance. There are endless options for every craving and hankering you can imagine.

This week, while en route to a meeting, Brian and I stopped in for a quick snack at Reggie’s. Although this wasn’t my first time visiting, it was my most impressionable. The staff there is like one big family. Everyone is constantly smiling, joking and laughing. This earns big points with me, as it’s nice to feel welcome and comfortable anywhere I sit down to eat. Aside, from the friendly service, the food is always impeccable. Their small, but impressive menu, offers an array of short-order options that take no longer than 10 minutes to make (usually 5). Their sandwiches are tangy and flavorful, their signature “fried mac n’ cheese” is deliciously sinful, and their version of the classic poutine, is rich in flavor and consistency.Sure, their menu isn’t the most healthy in the city, however healthy eating is not this restaurant’s angle. Their focus is rich, tasty comfort food, and trust me when I tell you, no-one in Toronto does it better than Reggie’s.

For a cheap and extremely satisfying lunch, dinner or drunken snack, do yourself a favor and indulge.

Glad you finally got to this piece. Although this is not my type of eatery I know how much you enjoy it there. More importantly than anything else, I just love when you get back to these Taste Bud blogs and fill up those wanting stomachs with amazing options. Good on ya slime!

Thanks dog. The first ever time I visited Reggie’s was with you, and it was a good night indeed. Among my most memorable of last year. #slimelove
