Pumpkin Art

Being the festive tradionalist that many people know me as, I take every opportunity to celebrate holidays to the fullest. Halloween, is and always has been one of my all time favorites. One of the best things (in my opinion) about Halloween, is enjoying some of the unique and out of the box pumpkin carvings that people create. Every year I see the obvious 3 triangle faces, and the go-to Halloween themed cut-outs. However I am usually fairly impressed by at least one pumpkin by the time October 31st comes around. In the past few years I have seen everything from political figures, to electronics logos and saucy sayings.

The below images are actual pumpkin carvings by various artists from all around the world. Take a look at some of the breathtaking work that these people have blessed us with.

Pumpkin carving and decorating the outside of my parents house was the best when I was young – when I was in school for design, this is where everyone nerded out. Trade secret = Dremel … that’s right, not only for wood working but Pumpkin Picasso’s
