Laughter: Zach Galifianakis

Is it novel, to find Zach Galifianakis funny? To enjoy his movies? Maybe so. However there is something so undeniably organic about his comedic presence. He has completely adopted his own sense of humour (on and off screen). With growing popularity throughout the last few years, Zach Galifianakis has impacted comedy in a way that few else have. As big a star as he has become, he shines in other places besides the silver screen. Zach has been doing stand-up comedy for years, as well as his ongoing (online based) talk show “Between Two Ferns”.

Since his appearance in 2009′s “The Hangover”, Zach’s popularity has quadrupled. A lot of people have brushed him to the side in the Dane Cook section, due to his overnight (mainstream) appeal and novelty. However, his almost theatre-like approach to comedic methods can be fairly compared to the likes of Richard Dreyfuss, or Michael Richards. Bold, physical presence. Looney, and off the wall dialogue. He possesses a timeless, and foolproof way of depicting comedy. A depiction, his peers have yet to match.
