Flicks: Inception

For the record, I have always thought that Dreams are real. There is something so utterly convincing about the feeling you experience during an ultra-lucid dream. You actually feel anything you touch, you taste anything that touches your lips, you see everything so clearly. This dream themed film, delves into the fantasy world of subconscious sabotage. Its menacing opening scene sends you on a clueless whirlwind of doubt, question and confusion. Most of the movie is very carefully plotted and organized, so that when the pinnacle of the movie arrives, you are completely blown away.

I can’t say this happens to me often (even though it should), but when the movie was finished, and the credits came up… I was actually almost in tears. I had goosebumps all over my body and I was weak with astonishment. It wasn’t necessarily the acting or the script (although both were good) that threw me over the edge. It was the re-confirmation of how real my feelings toward dreams actually are.

Perhaps entering one or more persons dream at a time is fabricated? However, the reality that (I believe) exists in our dreams suggests something different. I would be interested to know if anything like this has actually happened. I’m sure there is something out there that supports the theory.

Tell me I’m not the only one who thinks this…
